MY GRATITUDE JOURNAL 2015

It's the last day of the year 2015!! A very very Happy New Year's Eve everybody!!

Its funny how fast time flies by without even realizing it. Don't you think so? So many things you probably wanted to accomplish this year but somehow the year just slipped by your fingers without realizing or making any significant accomplishments. Well, while you can't stop the time from moving, how about you do what it does, keep moving! Stop watching the clock but rather do what it does. Keep going!!

This is the path I want to take in the year 2016, to keep going. Setting goals and making them happen.  While there are so many things that I want to accomplish in the coming year, there are so many things that I am grateful for in the year 2015.

'Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.'~Eckhart Toile

Well these are some of the things that I am grateful for in the year 2015..

  Life:

  • I am thankful for the gift of life. To God for bringing me this far and protecting me throughout the year from day one, yet here I am on the last day of the year.
  • Grateful for a healthy life and for being able to fulfill my basic needs.
  • Grateful for the goodness that the new year is gonna bring to my life.

Personal:
  • I am grateful that in this year I've grown and learnt so much.
  • I've become more conscious of living, more positive and started to live a more intentional life.  A life with a purpose.
  • I am grateful that I've become more effective/strategic.
  • I am grateful for aspiring personal growth and for the dreams and goals that I am yet to achieve in the coming year.

Career:
  •  I am grateful that it is in this year, I got the the courage to quit my day time job. A career that I wasn't happy with, to pursue something that I love and congruent with who I am.
  • I am grateful that I got to start my personal development blog and the opportunities it will bring in the coming year.

Family:
  • I am so thankful for my family. My mum, my sister and two brothers. For having them in my life and the support they've given me throughout this year.
  • Thankful for my grandmother who we are so blessed to have and for the amount of support she has been to our family.
  •  Thankful that I got to spend my Christmas this year with all of them
So what are you thankful for this year and what are your new year's resolution?

These are my new year's resolution/goals summed-up in a very simple way:
  • In the year 2016, I choose happiness and prosperity in every aspect of my life(career, health, relationship(friends, love &family), spirituality, wealth).
  •  I know and realize that this does not rest on my circumstances, but on my frame of mind.
  • I  therefore surrender to God any emotional thoughts or habits that may lead me down the path of unhappiness and self doubt, and pray to God for guidance in shifting my thoughts.  By cultivating the habits of happiness, goodness and positive thinking, I attract the people, situations and all the positive energy that match such frequency.
  • To bring the change I want to see and to become the person I want to see in others.

How about you? What's your new year resolution and what are your goals?  I believe writing them down and being specific with each goal is the first step towards achieving your goal.  What I have written here is just a sum-up. I have specified and written down all my goals and things I want to achieve in 2016 and saved them up for review every now and then.

Can't wait to see what the new year has in store for me!! Wishing you from the bottom of my heart a happy and a prosperous new year 2016. It will be an absolutely FABULOUS year for all of us!! Catch you in the new year.

love, love and more love

Finally up!!!!!

I am super super excited!! They say 'The hardest part on any journey is taking that first step' This is incredibly true, well at least for me.  This first post has  been a long time coming for me.  Been wanting to do this since early this year and it's not until mid this year that I decided to take the step to do some research on the blogging world.

Yes! It's been 6months of thorough research, envisionment and planning. Well, since I discovered blogging, I fell in love with the whole idea of being an inspiration to people by doing things you love.  The idea of blogging for me was specifically to help improve myself in terms of rediscovering myself, becoming my best self and at the same time inspire someone positively. Yet, I was not sure of the niche to take at that time.  Thanks to the myriad of blogs that I read, that I stumbled upon Personal Development blogs. This developed an insight in my life that I was totally unaware of.
In those six months I've grown and learnt a lot.  I've discovered so much! So much that i did not know about myself, yet, I am still a work in progress. I am on a journey to self discovery, a self development journey to achieving my highest potential and becoming my best self while living my best life and at the same time, help you to do the same.

In case you have not read the about page, this is a personal development blog and every week it will be updated with new articles aimed at improving your life, covering areas of your life such as conscious living, relationship, Career and work, health and fitness as well as documenting my personal journey.

Its the 30th of December, 2015 one day to the new year and I am so glad I got to do my first blog post before the end of the year.  I have got so much to be thankful for in the year 2015 and that will be my second and last post for this year. My gratitude journal for the year 2015.

Be sure to bookmark and subscribe to this blog as your join me on this journey and to immerse yourself in material that is going to help you become your best self and live your best life.  Remember: you have it in you to become whomever you want to be and achieve anything you wish for.  Begin by being a positive thinker.  See you on my next post and thank you for taking the time to read.

With love
